Welcome to my therapy space. If you’re visiting this site, it’s likely that you or someone you love is facing challenges which feel just too big to manage alone. It takes strength and courage to reach out for help. Taking this step could very well be the first on your path toward peace and healing. I would love to accompany you on that journey,

A bit about me….

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker having graduated with a master of social work degree from the College of St. Catherine / University of St. Thomas. Working from a strengths-based perspective, my goal is to walk along side you and/or your child as you find inner strength and healing. I believe my role as a clinician is to provide a setting which is comfortable, safe and empowering as we embark on this journey together.

My social work career began in the field of foster care and adoption which I continue to hold close to my heart. As an outpatient therapist I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and families, many of whom have been impacted by childhood trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have had the opportunity to work with clients struggling with a number of life challenges including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, attachment, infertility and life transitions. I typically work from a psychodynamic perspective and find that having a safe space in which to explore current life challenges, in light of developmental history, allows the healing to begin.

I am also proud to be a Registered Play Therapist and would welcome the opportunity to share with you the amazing power of healing through play. More about that on the next page….
