A bit about me….
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker having graduated with a master of social work degree from the College of St. Catherine / University of St. Thomas. Working from a strengths-based perspective, my goal is to walk along side you and/or your child as you find inner strength and healing. I believe my role as a clinician is to provide a setting which is comfortable, safe and empowering as we embark on this journey together.
My social work career began in the field of foster care and adoption which I continue to hold close to my heart. As an outpatient therapist I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and families, many of whom have been impacted by childhood trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have had the opportunity to work with clients struggling with a number of life challenges including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, attachment, infertility and life transitions. I typically work from a psychodynamic perspective and find that having a safe space in which to explore current life challenges, in light of developmental history, allows the healing to begin.
